saw some fresh sliding snow in expo s. a loose snow slide, in the ascent, in expo s, came down next to the ascent track. a kind of "wet snow sliding snow slide", came down in the descent, in expo s. all three were a bit bigger than you would like them to be. the sun is def. an issue!!! the bavarian and vorarlberg 2er was o.k. today. with an early start, expo s is also still doable.

today was action day. motto: "better n and steep, than w and flatter". there it still lies, the pow. everything that sees sun is capped in the meantime. the cap softens quickly and well, however. with the right timing, expo s is then soft. no firn yet! expo n remains pow for the time being ;-)
