Interruptions due to lack of snow on the east side. But possible from the parking lot.

Snow quality

Firm old snow, on the way to the Somnerfirn.

Spring conditions, relatively cold until midday, therefore no danger of wet snow avalanches

Overall impression

Great weather, snow was already interrupted twice on the east route. Nevertheless, nice sliding in great weather and little activity. Normal approach without fresh snow for at least another week.
