Snow condition

you can actually only get down to meadows up to 1000m. below that there is some snow again, but it's not really usable. You can only ski where there was a base before, i.e. facing away from the sun, usually above 1300m. the snow cover has become more inhomogeneous again due to the wind. Otherwise less exposed ridges are partly bare, wind scour around some trees, but also nicely filled up, gullies, hollows, aisles

Snow quality

in the morning a very light cap on the otherwise well-preserved powder. but hardly disturbed when driving downhill or dissolved depending on the exposure. until noon on West still really nice and dusty, soft and fast!

drifting snow. no observation of wet or sliding snow movements in the comparatively gentle terrain until midday

Overall impression

sau schwer zu sagen, ob es morgen nochmal lohnt. seit heute Nachmittag überzieht es mit einem grauen föhnschleier, und es ist sehr warm auch in der Höhe. vermutlich gibts morgen auch in der schattigsten Nordrinne nur noch Papp oder Harsch. Heute wars mit dem frühen Start jedenfalls nochmal genial.
