Variations of snow cover

Around 20 cm of fresh snow that has fallen without wind and is now insidiously covering terrain traps again. Due to the influence of the foehn on the WE, some snow was lost again. Contact with the enemy is to be expected. The season in the Mangfallgebirge is coming to an end.

Powder snow

Beautiful powder snow that fell without wind. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the hard old snow cover. The fresh snow can be skied quite quickly.

Risks

No warning signs
North North-Eas

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

Relaxed tour without danger signs. LWS 2 >1600 m.

Worse

Until the sun comes out again, the conditions remain quite reasonable. It was another nice quick mid-April trip with fresh snow. It was particularly funny today to meet the same faces as last week for the Early Bird ski tour. There's something about making tracks and ratcheting together :). Hope you had some good runs.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
