Snow condition

Blown backs
Stone Contact avoidable
Variations of snow cover

If your skis are not too bad and you know the terrain a bit, I think some defensive variants/tours are possible. But whether it's worth it is up to you.

Snow quality

1 von 5 Sterne
Hard, pressed snow
Breakable crust

Most of it looks like powder and breakage. It didn't look worthwhile anywhere, the strong winds of the last few days have ruined things. But the slopes are great.

Risks

Old snow problem
Crevasse or fall danger
Fresh avalanches
North South

Wind intensity: High (40 – 60 km/h)

LLB applies. A few boards came off from yesterday to today, some even in flat terrain. Actually all at the transition from much too little snow (-> old snow and drift snow). I would be very careful where the drift snow lenses are. The boards might not have been enough for a proper burial, but I don't think it would be very cool to be dragged over rocks in such poor snow conditions...

Avalanche activity

South-East

Dry slab avalanche

Altitude: 2600 m

Overall impression

Equal

It's still nice when the piste is good and there's practically nothing going on.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
