Blown backs

You have to be careful again in exposed places because of stones. On the south side, it's already getting tight in places. Significantly less snow in the eastern part of the Allgäu than in the west.

Snow quality

Breakable crust

Slopes with artificial snow as hard as a rock, very thin snow cover in places and not particularly well prepared. It doesn't get much better on the N side during the day. But the off-piste wasn't too bad. Yes, broken snow, but quite predictable, as it's constantly not load-bearing and not too thick. Pow underneath. That made for a great rebound. Bouncing around was really fun.

Risks

No warning signs

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

You have to watch out more for people crossing and objects getting in the way than for avalanches.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
