Snow report Tannheimer Valley, 12/19/2021
Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Altitude
800 - 1900m
Avalanche warning level
low (1)
Exposition
Snow condition
Access to the valley is still possible. No longer on the south side, of course. More than okay for December
Snow quality
Well - it's got snow, but the quality is pretty poor. Harsch cover or hard and bumpy. Preferably on a load-bearing lid
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
Well set - tricky ground snow cracks (east side) are to be expected. Hard snow bulwark can also really leverage you out
Overall impression
Sunrise tour - summit tea - nice and fresh in the morning ... that's it! But not really worthwhile in terms of snow. So afternoon on the Liope
