Snow condition

Well, it was very bad from the start and is just getting worse and worse. Only a little bit of sliding around on pistes and gentle alpine meadows is possible.

Snow quality

Unfortunately not as good as I thought when I went up. I had hoped for sulz, but it wasn't so soft after all, despite the moisture in this area. Fast, but rough. Untracked would perhaps be better, but that's no longer available.

Strong winds and warmth - but a very compact and light snow cover. and there is little snow to move. Some smaller slides and snow mouths could be seen on the east-southeast side. The main danger mmn is the lack of snow...

Overall impression

Especially this afternoon, when I was out and about, the conditions were even less good due to rain, sleet and strong winds. The next few days will add dramatically to the snow cover, but it was never more than an inadequate base here anyway. I'll save the second star so that I can give one next week ;)
