Snow condition
Start / finish in Baad. On the descent into the valley, you always have to fasten your seatbelt, but otherwise it's ok.
Snow quality
Wet snow with crust on north-facing slopes 1200 - 1700 meters / 1700 - 2500 hard snow. South / east-facing slopes from 2000 meters nice firn depending on the time of day, otherwise not so great snow conditions
Risks
Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)
Danger comes from poor snow conditions - sometimes knee-deep in the snow swamp.
Overall impression
Well, January is untypical for firn - for a few nice slopes you have to accept a few meters of altitude with very bad snow - but what else can you do?
