Risks
Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)
Relaxed avalanche situation. Danger comes from stone/rock contact that has only been lightly covered with snow or hard frozen old snow chunks.
Overall impression
We were out and about in the side valley in the Allgäu main ridge in the north at 1500 meters and above. If you have an eye for the terrain, you can also get through without stone/ground contact. I'd give today's slopes 4 stars. Great weather even on the summits at almost 2400 meters with little or no wind. But snow quality and quantity cannot be transferred to the whole Oberstdorf region, so 3 stars.
