Variations of snow cover

Partly very inhomogeneously distributed: Generally much less in the higher elevations, in sheltered and blown-in terrain formations there is quite a bit, sometimes around 2 meters. All in all, I'd say it's okay, at least enough that you now have a certain choice of downhill variants and can also do a bit of bolting. You can ski down into the valley on all the clearer paths on the north side. If possible, however, it is advisable to start at around 1000m, especially when the vegetation becomes denser.

Snow quality

Hard, pressed snow
Powder snow

It was best purely on the snow side, above the tree line relatively compact but fast powder. In the forest it was more difficult in places, but still ok. Avoid everything in the sun and wind.

Risks

Diurnal warming
North North-West

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

The high altitudes are not to be trusted and it's not worth it anyway, due to the blasted areas there. It's very warm in the sun, so wet snow slides may be an issue further down.

Worse

Good day with great weather, company and ambience, mostly good snow and a fairly untouched line at the top. Unfortunately it's been very warm during the day since yesterday, so the sinking depths are no longer so great in places. But in the north-eastern exposures, the snow was sometimes really great. You have to be very careful at high altitudes, it's often snow-swept and I would also avoid steep, large slopes. But I don't think that's a bad thing, you can do a lot in the higher forests. Of course it's very busy, but you can still find untracked terrain, even if it's not often.
