Snow condition

As you can see from some Salzburg ski touring forums, it's probably standard snow depth if you look through the turf away from the pistes. For me, it's well below average and not worthwhile for off-piste. Thanks to the piste, you can reach the valley station of the Jennerbahn!

Snow quality

Well, extremely wet snow throughout at all altitudes and in all exposures. Last night and the morning were simply far too warm.

The greatest danger at the moment is probably from stones or wet snow. Further up, the snowpack should now probably also be well soaked, which is unlikely to have a positive impact on the avalanche situation in the short term.

Overall impression

Well, classic Salzburg/Berchtesgaden conditions. Not good snow but nice views and a bit of sport. At least the slopes on the Jenner can be used for downhill skiing
