Snow condition

The snow conditions are still not as plentiful but still much better than 2 weeks ago. In the valley 30 cm of fresh snow on no base from 1200 meters 30cm on hard crust up to 40 cm on the mountain

Snow quality

Very fine fluffy powder 20 - 40 cm on hard crust

Above the tree line in steep slopes and gullies isolated loose snow slides. The greatest danger comes from what lurks under the powder snow. Tree stumps Rocks Barbed wire Ditches etc

Overall impression

Finally a touch of winter so it should go on
