Exposition
Snow condition
There's now a lot of snow at the top, so you can let it go. At the bottom, you're practically riding on grass again. Once it warms up, the layer should disappear very quickly.
Snow quality
Great powder at the top, about 20 cm. However, you can tell that it was a bit warm, so the snow is not quite fluffy. The further down you get, the heavier the snow becomes. Further down (below 1200m) it unfortunately rained or was too wet, so everything was already frozen.
Risks
Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)
The avalanche situation is still critical, as it has been windy for the last few days. From a distance, I could see an avalanche edge on a very steep eastern slope.
Overall impression
If it stays nice and cold now, there should be some nice slopes further up over the next few days.
