Kleinwalsertal on 12.02.2023 | htg_other better than expected in terms of snowfall and downhill runs, but very busy in the area.

Snow condition

better than expected. although the amount of snow is below average, it is very well set and allows almost unrestricted off-piste and downhill skiing. only in the forest is there far too little snow! i only had contact with stones once.

Snow quality

still good pow on the schattside, but in the meantime it's gone. sulz on the sunny side, with a tendency towards firn. but it will take a few more days.

no gliding snow mouths seen, not even on grassy southern flanks! larger drift snow packs lie in the expos n to so, according to lawi on an unstable snowpack foundation.

Overall impression

remains so. in expo s, expect more firn hangs.
