Snow condition

Bitter. Extremely bad snow situation at all altitudes. It won't be possible to do anything useful for much longer...

Snow quality

Very wet and heavy. A few cm of fresh snow at the top. Down on the forest path wet ice, but very full of brushwood and needles, so unfortunately super slow.

Heavy storm, but also very little snow.

Overall impression

Somehow, every year seems to be topping itself in terms of snow poverty in recent years. That's pretty extreme. Otherwise, funny April weather with a hard storm at the summit.
