Stone Contact avoidable

We no longer believed it, but overnight and all day Saturday there was certainly 30-40 cm of fresh snow in the Arosa/Lenzerheide area. Unfortunately, there was no base almost everywhere, so we always had to ride with the handbrake on. Even above 2200m there were still a lot of stones. Combined with the poor visibility, you had to be careful. It felt like the snow conditions on the Lenzerheide side were slightly better than in the direction of Arosa.

Powder snow

It was quite cold the whole time, so it was great powder. When there was a base, it was really fun.

Risks

West North-West

Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)

There were some snow drifts near the ridge.

Overall impression

Equal

Great day in the ski area. A little more visibility and base would have made it even better. Maybe there will be something tomorrow.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
