Snow condition

Yes, awesome for mid-December. The peaks are as white as right after fresh snow

Snow quality

It's really cool on slopes protected from the wind. Old powder snow, a bit silky further down, goes down to below 1500. But there are also surprisingly windswept spots in between.

There is definitely drift snow. On the second ascent, the track was already gone again. The main warning was about avalanches caused by the snow. We had nothing to do with that.

Overall impression
