Snow condition

Snow conditions are excellent, but south-facing forests should be avoided.

Snow quality

Really fine where it is sheltered from the wind. Otherwise it likes to have a lid. Still surprisingly well preserved on the south side above 2000.

The LLB still writes about drift snow that can be dissolved by individual skiers. This leaves a few questions unanswered. We found no signs of this in the terrain, but followed the advice of the LLB and remained cautious.

Overall impression

As expected, very fine in well-preserved powder. In fact, the snow quality was best at the bottom. There was freezing cold powder with a ripe surface topping.
