Snow condition

Not much in the forest below, but enough. Blown off backs at the top and otherwise good.

Snow quality

The 20 cm that fell fresh on Thursday has long since been blown away by the wind or covered or baked to concrete by the sun. There were also a few good turns in the drift snow, but generally... meh!

Medium-sized snow packs were easy to find above the tree line and less susceptible to disturbance.

Overall impression

What a sunny day in the fresh air with very good apple strudel today! Skiing was cool too, but the conditions have been better... meh...
