Freeriding in Rifflsee with 30cm freshies and few avalanches

Snow condition

Good base few sharks and you only get through to the harder base on some backs below 2000m

Snow quality

Good pow. Sometimes influenced by wind. Clearly heavy on the south side from midday.

I can't confirm the 4 today. At least in the frequently used off-piste terrain, it was more of a 3. No big explosions in the ski area. No spontaneous avalanches. Few loose snow problems. Possibly more tense in touring terrain. Mittagskogel was not skied. Towards Wildspitze it looked quite windy and cloudy

Overall impression

Endlich Neuschnee und nicht zu wenig. Insgesamt echt lohnenswerte Abfahrten gefunden. Die nächsten Tage muss man fast Touren um noch unverspurtes zu finden.
