Snow condition

Rocky valley out to the trunk is just about 2cm of carpet, which should be gone tomorrow. Very little to nothing in the valley at 1500m. From 2000m solid, if not outstanding.

Snow quality

Deduction for the last 300m into the valley. Very fine at the top, a bit windy in places, but good throughout.

When the wind picked up, there was a superficial crack on one edge. Next to old avalanche cones, no observations.

Overall impression

Schöner morgen in Andermatt. Lange nicht gesehen. Sonne Wolkenmix, mal Blindflug, mal Sicht gut. Im Tal sollte es nochmals eine Ladung geben, sonst ist dann schnell vorbei in den unteren Bereichen.
