Snow condition

Down in Cari, the freshly fallen 40cm of moisture lies on spring meadows. It will be fine at the top, but not sure if it is.

Snow quality

Not quite so damp from 2000m, but zero visibility. Just right for building igloos underneath.

No visibility and unknown terrain made us lowangle riders... The only steeper section followed us comfortably wet.

Overall impression

Airolo zu. Bedretto Strasse gesperrt. Dann ab nach Cari. Nettes Gebiet und schöner Tag an der frischen Luft. Ab 1800m wirds wohl pudrig sein, aber auch sehr heiss. Die feuchte Pampe mit pudriger Auflage, darf sich jetzt mal ohne mich setzen.
