Snow condition

Overall, the snow conditions are very below average for the time of year, especially in the middle altitudes. There is still some snow at higher altitudes, but you usually have to walk long distances.

Snow quality

Exposed to the sun and rutted, it is quite ok: sulky and soft. Otherwise often a tough cover, a bit tricky.

At medium altitudes, danger mainly due to low snow cover.

Overall impression

Nach längerem Ausfall endlich mal wieder auf Ski unterwegs, wenn auch nur im kleinen Gebiet. In den mittleren Lagen geht nicht mehr viel, südseitig schaut's richtig schlecht aus. In den nächsten Tagen werd ich mal weiter hoch schauen, da dürfte schon noch was gehen, wenn man weit trägt.
