Snow condition

Snow conditions in the area are very good for the time of year, especially on the glaciers above 2700m. Below 2000m it is rather average/below average. You can still get to the valley station.

Snow quality

Found nice dry powder above 2400-2500m on the north side, 2200-2400m minimal broken snow cover even further down rather hard.

The wind was blowing on the exposed summits/ridges, otherwise there was no wind all day.

Overall impression

Due to the warm temperatures on the previous days, we went up the mountain and found dry powder snow on the north side. Besides, a little acclimatization never hurts, who knows what will happen in the future.
