Snow condition

Too little or too irregular snow for major freeride action in the rear Kaunertal. Rock contact hardly avoidable. The foundation is in place, now we need another load.

Snow quality

A few cool powder turns in isolated hollows protected from the wind - top powder here. Mostly very variable and influenced by the wind.

Lots of drift snow and gullies and hollows

Overall impression

5* for the top slopes and great weather. Unfortunately, the powder was blown away by the wind in the backcountry and the base is still missing; off-piste rock contact unavoidable, freeriding possible to a limited extent
