Snow fairly low (at least 1300m) on slopes sheltered from the sun. Good conditions on the glacier

Snow quality

Good snow sheltered from the sun. North-facing slopes are still windblown at higher altitudes (crusty, variable snow).

Stable snow after a long high-pressure period.

Overall impression

Really good base layer for the season. Some really good slopes on cold faces.
