It's amazing how this new year has started. Northern Norway has recovered well from a pretty bad start to the season and shortly after the New Year we had almost a meter of snow without wind. If you wait 48 hours according to the good old rule of thumb, then you can get something in the steep (we almost got stuck the last few days). The fact that everything here opens up like this, that you can't find a single corn kantkorn, no weak layer and then cold powder goes through the gully with a pink sky and good timing is simply - out of this world. This one just about never happens 🙈
