Snow condition

As a little further north, the snow conditions here are also very below average. On the forest road, you still have to carry downhill in places at 1400m. However, you can ski on the shady side and in open terrain with little structure due to the compact layer of snow. You can forget about sunny sides. Currently all skis are stone skis... ;)

Snow quality

Due to the cold, beautiful snow crystals have formed. Unfortunately, even in the shade, there's a pretty tough layer of crushed harsh snow underneath, which is quite challenging to ski... Sometimes there were short, okay passages. Further down on the east side, dust on ice.

Very manageable avalanche situation at medium altitude.

Overall impression

Great weather and ambience, but challenging snow conditions or not enough... I was first on the north side and then climbed up again and tested the east side. Actually, these would have been beautiful slopes, but unfortunately a bit too much broken harsh snow. 2nd star for the view.
