Snow condition

2 von 5 Sterne

Around 15 cm of fresh snow had fallen by 12.00 noon. In the forest and away from the touring tracks, contact with the enemy is still possible, on the meadows it's great. In total about 30cm of snow, in a few places exposed to the west wind-blown to the ground.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne

Due to the temperature just below zero, still powder, but not face-shot quality.

Risks

Due to the wind, leeward slopes are quite packed, and cornices can also be seen. With a little care, however, unproblematic.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

Nice little tour to two peaks in snowfall. Manageable crowds on the mountain in the morning. However, there is less snow than in the areas favored by the last snowfall further east. Conditions will continue to improve, however, with snowfall continuing and more intense than forecast. Traffic chaos on the way home in the opposite direction due to people putting on snow chains.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
