Snow condition

Not exhilarating, but average for the Axamer Lizum at this time of year. North of the main ridge probably one of the areas with the most snow. Scarce in the forest, with tracks already skiable, ok above. Due to the very strong winds of the last few days, the tops and ridges above the tree line are mostly completely blown off. Quite windy again today, also very mild, -1°C at the summit

Unfortunately nothing. The wind, which is really unusually strong for the Axamer Lizum, has done a great job, above the tree line there is practically only wind harsch. Often with a load-bearing top, but just as often nasty broken snow. There is no soft snow at all. In the forest, there is a lot of powder that would be nice to ski on in principle, but wherever there is even nearly enough snow, it's completely gone.

Risks

Watch out for drift snow...

Well, it was fun, but off-piste riding was at best slope-like...
