Snow report Grisons, 02/10/2014
Hammerskitourentag in St. Antönien. 3 Gipfel, 3 super Abfahrten, 2000 Höhenmeter.
Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Snow condition
Above 1300m quite acceptable, especially on the north side. The large scree fields are covered.
Snow quality
On the north side even 5 stars, but especially in the lower part the snow quality changes quickly if the exposure deviates from north.
Risks
Heavy accumulations of drift snow in areas close to the crest, which are barely recognizable due to the fresh snow. The drift snow accumulations are mainly on the north and east sides. Otherwise stable conditions.
Overall impression
Perfect day for a ski tour. Tour: Rüti (St. Antönien)- P. 2540 (Riedchopf) - Partnun - Rotspitz - Silbertälli - Schollberg north summit - Silbertälli - P. 2029 (Wätterweid) - Rüti. Freeriding tips at www.freerideguide.ch and www.facebook.com/freerideguidejungfrauregion
