Snow condition
This morning, the ascent from the Ostertal parking lot was possible without any problems. By midday today, the lowest slope was already snowed out in places. The western slope below the Rangiswanger Horn looked white and white and tempting this morning, this evening there was a lot of grass to be seen. From about 1300 m, the snow conditions are generally good. Partly blown off on the south side. The road from the Grafenälpenhütte still had just enough snow to be able to ski on it a few times. In a few days a bike will make more sense there.
Snow quality
5-10 cm of powder on an even base. In the right exposures, we still had a lot of fun even at four o'clock today. The runs were so good that we skied one of the summit slopes 6 times. From about 1400 m on the east side, the snow was really wet and slowing down.
Risks
Not critical on the tour and in my opinion not a triple. On other relatively close mountains, however, large snow packs were visible. From a distance it looked like as if a large slab had fallen on a north-facing slope west of the Toreck. I skied it a few years ago and remember it being around 35 degrees.
Overall impression
Superb conditions and surprisingly few people :-)
