From 1500 there is at least visually a closed snow cover. Depending on the exposure, between 10cm and 60cm. In the valley it may have gotten worse today, as it started raining in the afternoon.

Away from the pistes, it is mostly broken snow or well-set snow. From 1700 onwards, the snow slowly becomes poor.

Risks

At the moment there is simply too little snow on most of the slopes to ski off-piste properly. The snow cover has made quite a good impression, we dug a small profile in one place and the snow cover has settled well. There was only a hard, but non-load-bearing layer directly on the surface. Directly on the ground, as so often in recent winters, you could see a building transformation. Towards the afternoon it started to snow / sleet.

The foundation is now in place, but we still need a good load of snow to be able to do anything sensible off-piste here.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
