Snow condition
The snowfall of the last few days is clearly noticeable, but the wind has also played its part here. 15-20cm, which are almost always windblown or blown away. The continuous wind also gives the few flakes that are still falling no chance to settle. Occasionally lumps of ice and stones peek out of the terrain, but rarely even out of the piste.
Snow quality
Pressed cold snow, which is marked by the wind. Tracks are quickly blown over again, resulting in a mixture of settled/hard and blown/softer snow.
Risks
The crevasses are currently the greater danger in terms of visibility and relocations. However, the master builder wind is doing itself proud, especially on crests and ridges, and caution is advised in these places.
Overall impression
A nice day's skiing with almost no stone contact in crushed snow probably sums it up quite well. Almost everything has been tracked and blown away again. And usually several times. There is still a lot of snow missing here for real powder skiing. But the foundations have been laid. If only it weren't for this wind...
