A few days skiing the terrain accessible from the lift, then touring every day.
Unending battles against the ever-increasing fatigue and the strong wind, but you never know how long the conditions will last.
For two weeks you couldn't imagine a better place, perfect snow no matter where. Then what always happens in Las Lenas happened - it got warm. Up to 20°C in the valley.
However, the snow remained good at higher altitudes and in the shady couloirs, you just had to invest more. The conditions are now very modest again, and as quickly as the snow came, it's gone again. The weather hasn't been particularly good over the last few days either, so we've been able to concentrate more on the nightlife, which is very active here.
We'll see how long we can keep busy here, it doesn't look as if anything will change again. And until then, meat and fernet will help us through many a depression.
