Phew, not yet another ski touring guide for the much talked about Eastern Alps around Salzburg. Stop, because this ski touring guide really has it all: ski tourers and freeriders will not only find standard tours here, but also "a few crazy things" and if extreme alpinists à la Albert Precht say so, then you can expect these tours to be really rad.
The book probably also bears the title "my track" because the one track usually remains the only one, if only because few tourers make their tracks in terrain that is up to 55 degrees steep. 125 carefully selected tours (plus many variant options described) make the book an almost inexhaustible treasure trove for medium to very alpine ski touring challenges.
It's a bit of a shame that the map sections with the marked tours are very small and therefore only serve as an initial rough guide. Some of the small photos also look a little unkind, and many of the really good photos would have deserved a little more space. All in all, a book worth recommending, with a refreshing touch, even if some of these tours are a little too spicy for me personally.
