The all-round service package of the PowderGuide Powder Department Gentlemen Days also includes overnight accommodation in a 4-star hotel, lunch as well as a café and craft beer in the Gentlemen Lounge, which is set up in front of the impressive glacier backdrop in good weather.
Camp participants can look forward to a great weekend where they will find relaxation and new friends as well as fun and adventure. It will be a weekend that is not about proving anything to anyone, but simply about having fun together in the powder - among like-minded people, among friends, among fellow skiers. Only the guides at this event are female. And that was a deliberate choice. Because the girls around Freeride Center boss Patricia know exactly how to lead the men safely beyond their comfort zone with charm and know-how and thus give them unique experiences on the mountain.
Patricia Ribis is one of the four state-certified mountain and ski guides who set off with the boys. But why only female guides at a men's camp? "I've experienced for myself that so many men in a group can be pushed a bit more by a woman guide. We've also had male guides, but they're often too gentle. A female guide simply says 'You can do it, just go down, you can do it' - most guys are more likely to be positively encouraged", says organizer Thorsten. And what do the guides think of being out and about with such a bunch of boys? "Men are extremely grateful guests who are great to guide - and almost always want to. Definitely a dream job", laughs Patricia.
