Deeper | Teton Gravity Research

Tired of railriding and big kicker action? Then DEEPER is your movie!

Not in the mood for more rail riding and big kicker action? Then DEEPER is your movie!

Jeremy Jones and Teton Gravity Research have combined the radical progressive big mountain downhill style with the most traditional form of winter sports in the most impressive way. In keeping with the "earn your turn" mentality, Jeremy and his boys have earned every run with sheer manpowder. Without being inferior to the competition in the helicopter, in STEE...er DEEPER they chose runs that we expect from the eight-time "Big Mountain Rider of the Year". With freeride world champion Xavier De Le Rue, old master Johan Olofson, Jonaven Moore and many more, the bar has been raised a little higher again, with Travis Rice and his playful riding style providing the necessary style and airtime.

Jeremy Jones' backcountry flick took over two years of production time to reach the most remote spots in California and Utah (USA), Haynes (AK), Chamonix (F) and Antarctica, to climb previously nameless peaks and record spectacular first ascents.

The helmet camera sequences always get our pulse racing when it becomes clear: "Falling is defenetly not an option!" It's good that Jeremy emphasizes this once again - because I'm about to lose faith...

Conclusion

Put it in and buckle up! This movie is a step towards a new era of big mountain snowboarding and will certainly secure a place in the snowboarding encyclopaedia alongside "TB 5" and "That's it That's all".
