The Free Radicals have little to do with healthy eating. They have been supplying freeriders with their own nice ski films since 1988 (!). The special thing about it: large parts are filmed in the Alps.
It's amazing what our Scandinavian friends managed to pull off again last winter. The best big mountain skiing, despite the distinct lack of snow in the last Euro winter of 2010/2011. The music is modern, the editing and camera work are okay, but nothing special either. You can tell that the focus here is on the action, and that's "okay".
Conclusion
A thoroughly appealing work. The special thing about it is that almost all the scenes were filmed in the Alps and you will definitely recognize one or two of the spots, or at least want to visit them. If you want to support the Scandinavian freeride scene and want to see a nice ski movie with action shots, The Sunny Side is just right for you. As a purchased version, the film would probably be worth 3 stars, but the fact that it will be available as a free HD download is enough for a full 5 stars!
