Has the development of freestyle finally come to a standstill? We've seen films like this quite a few times now. But I shouldn't get too personal here, because the guys from IsenSeven have put together a really finely produced snowboard film with sophisticated shots in their latest video. For their 10th birthday, the crew give their all to entertain us and "Lets go get lost" is certainly the highlight in the IsenSeven series.
With impeccable camera and editing techniques and a tasty selection of music, "Let's go get lost" is a well-rounded affair. But nothing special. Most of the scenes take place on banisters and in parks. Just nothing special. The boys can jump and turn and fly and grab the board. But nothing special.
And I'm not quite sure what the title "Let's go get lost" has to do with the content. Perhaps that it will disappear into the depths of the overloaded snowboard film industry.
Conclusion
Nice to have this video running behind the counter in the store. But "Lets go get lost" really doesn't offer much more. There is absolutely nothing to criticize about the flawless production. However, it is nothing special by any stretch of the imagination. Just a movie like we've seen many times before.
