Date | Back on Track Registration from Mon 11.2.

If you want to get one of the coveted starting places, you have to be quick!

The Back on Track Feel Freeride Contest is entering the next round and registration will open on Monday, February 11 at 8 pm. For all those who want to take part, it's time to be quick!

Last year, all starting places for the popular event were taken within 5 minutes!

The home base for the BOT is the Saarbrücker Hütte on the Bielerhöhe. Around 35 freeriders will gather there again from April 12-14 to spend a weekend together including a contest (tourers who want a solitary hut experience should perhaps choose a different destination on this date). Depending on the conditions, the contest will be held on one of the many attractive slopes near the hut. In the last two years, the rocky terrain on the Winterberg opposite the Litzner Sattel has been chosen as the contest face, but experience has shown that if the snow and weather don't cooperate, there are alternative options.

Despite the contest format, the BOT is more about working together than competing against each other. Not only do the participants spend an entire weekend together - including joint tours, hut evenings, snowman building, etc. - they also decide for themselves who wins the riders' judging. This relaxed approach makes the BOT one of the few remaining indie contests that stands out from the mass of FWQs. It's not about points for the next FWQ season (or even promotion to the FWT), but at most about fame, honor and a few goodies. Accordingly, the field of participants, which is by no means less high-caliber than many FWQs, seems stress-free!

For all those who want to be there: We're keeping our fingers crossed that the internet speed will be at peak performance on Monday evening and that the computer won't crash.
