Before the big rain, I had a few more great days in the backcountry. I had to mount the skins a bit more than I would have liked, but the compensation in the form of excellent descents was very okay. But then it came and how... the rain and super warm. That was the end of JaPow for the time being. The following days were to die for. Ice rinks, absolutely terrible conditions on and off the piste. Day after day, someone sacrificed themselves and went out first thing in the morning to report to us in case we did get out of bed. Four long days of total exhaustion - and time for a bit of culture.
