Black Diamond presents the silent, unknown protagonists of the skiing and climbing scene in a new web series. It starts with Swedish ski mountaineer Henrik Westling. Westling was an aspiring, ambitious young skier when he had a serious accident at the age of 19. After winters in Utah and BC, he returned home. He bought an outdoor store in Östersund and spent more and more time in the office over the years, still struggling with the long-term effects of his injury. Dissatisfied with a life seemingly dedicated to work, he decided to ski all 178 peaks in the Swedish provinces of Jämtland and Härjedalen. One Seven Eight - Forging a Balance tells the story of Westling's attitude to life and the mountains in unagitated and pleasantly calm images.
