Event view | 4**** FWQ Hochfügen
02/08/2012 • Guest authorAfter the kick-off in La Clusaz and the unfortunately canceled Engadinsnow, the top riders of the FWQ gathered in Hochfügen (Zillertal) in Tyrol from February 4 to 5, 2012 to really heat up the spectators despite (or perhaps because of!?) temperatures of around -20°C. The cold powder and the first-class starting field ensured a freeride show at the highest level. -

Nowadays, the majority of freeriders know the powder hotspots of the Dolomites. However, due to the vastness of the areas, untouched slopes can still be found several days after the last snowfall. When it became apparent that a southerly storm would dump an acceptable amount of fresh snow in the Dolomites, the decision was quickly made - we set off for northern Italy – in search of deep snow and steep gullies.adventure & travelNew Zealand - Where Dreams come true... | Part II
