Small but beautiful ski tour south of Lake Tegernsee, which offers almost everything from dense forest to fine alpine meadows. After the ascent, you will be rewarded with a magnificent view to the south of the Blaubergkamm and the Central Massif as well as to the east of the Risserkogel and Blankenstein.
Ascent
From the parking lot, head towards the Schwaigeralm and past it on a fairly flat forest path into the Lange Au valley until a path branches off to the left towards the Risserkogel. The tour then leads steadily uphill through woodland, past the Scheuerer Alm and finally through increasingly sparse forest to the Ableitenalm. Across alpine meadows you reach the ridge between Grubereck and Risserkogel. Head northwest along the broad ridge to the Grubereck in just a few minutes.
Descent
The descent follows the ascent route.
