There is at least one positive thing about the lack of winter this year: nobody has to struggle in the snow for the Easter egg hunt. Sun worshippers line up along the magnificent promenades in the major cities like chickens on a string, while the mountains are emptier than they have been for a long time. Although the majority of POV customers seem to have finished their season, there is always something worth seeing in the depths of the web. Be it current or from the 80s. Crazy Frenchmen sliding on a gondola rope are of course not to be missed.

The last few weeks have been a tragedy in terms of skiing. Just as you're actively drowning the season with the help of various alcoholic beverages, bang, there's some fresh snow again. Mostly pointless at 20-30cm on flowering meadows, but there's always a little bit. A recent video from the Wallnerrinne and a video from a few days ago on the Glacier Rond are proof of this. Otherwise, unfortunately, you have to see it as it is: snow conditions as usual at the end of May (or even later). Exceptions can only be found in the high Alps or on artificial snow systems. Winter is saying goodbye rather quickly and emphatically at the moment. As a result, there is little current video footage of snow circulating on social media. If you can still find remnants of snow and fancy a bit of fun, how about a "slash attack"?
