The second day of the contest in Revelstoke, Canada, belonged entirely to the world elite of freeride snowboarders. 17 men and 6 women put their skills to the test on Saturday, January 7, 2012, on the "Mackenzie Face? However, the skiers' final scheduled for Sunday, January 8, 2012, had to be postponed due to the weather.
Ralph Backstrom, Squaw Valley (USA), took the top spot on the men's podium with his run. Followed by Jonathan 'Douds' Charlet (FRA) and Blair Habenicht (USA). Maria DeBari (USA) won the women's race ahead of Margo Rozies (FRA) and Shannan Yates (USA). The European riders will have to dress warmly if they want to compete with their American colleagues at the FWT.
