You can take it with you to pull over the edge twice in the parking lot. That's all you need to have useful sharp edges. The Ergo Plus allows you to grind both the base and the side edge at two grinding angles. Almost certainly one too many for most new snow groomers. The insert file is also available separately as a spare part and has a good bite. However, its durability is also mediocre.
