A private ski resort? The Winterhorn ski resort in Uri is currently for sale. The starting price is 250,000 sFr. Bids can still be submitted until July 17.
The background
According to Dangel, the offer is actually a search for investors. Some interested parties have already contacted him, but no concrete offers have yet been received. However, the major Egyptian investor Sawiris, who is building a luxury resort in neighboring Andermatt, is not interested in the Winterhorn.

Dangel confirms that the Winterhorn is currently not profitable. However, this could change once Sawiris' resort opens. The area is characterized by guaranteed snow until well into April and plenty of off-piste options.
